European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA)
ELIA is the primary independent network organisation of major arts education institutions and universities, representing all subject disciplines. ELIA has over 350 member arts institutions in 47 countries, altogether representing more than 250,000 art students. 

University of Dance and Circus is a member of the network, and part of the ELIA Dance Section.

 The European Federation of Professional Circus Schools (FEDEC)
The European Federation of Professional Circus Schools (FEDEC) is a network embracing 41 professional circus schools located in 21 different countries. FEDEC's main objective is to support the development and evolution of pedagogy and creation in the field of circus arts education with the following objectives:

- to improve the education in professional circus schools,

- to reinforce the links between the professional circus schools,

- to represent these schools at European or international level,

- to promote the work of young artists who have graduated from these schools. 

Danshögskolan is represented in the board of FEDEC, and takes an active part in all of the above mentioned activities.

 European Consortium for Arts Therapies Education (ECArTE)
ECArTE is a consortium of universities, whose primary purpose is to represent and encourage the development of the Arts Therapies at a European level; in particular the courses offering nationally validated and professionally recognised training for arts therapists. Arts therapies include art therapy, dance therapy, drama therapy and music therapy.

Dans och Cirkushögskolan is a member of the general assembly, and is also an active leader in workshops on leadership within arts therapy educations.

Life-Long Learning Programme
The Life-Long Learning Programme is the programme for educational co-operation in Europe, financed by the European Commission. The programme enables individuals at all stages of their lives to pursue stimulating learning opportunities across Europe. It consists of several sub-programmes, of which Dans och Cirkushögskolan is part of the Erasmus Exchange Programme.

 International Dance Council (CID)
CID is the official umbrella organisation for all forms of dance in all countries of the world. CID represents the art of dance in general and is recognised by UNESCO, national and local governments, international organisations and institutions. CID is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1973 within the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, where it is based. The members are the most prominent federations, associations, schools, companies and individuals in 150 countries. 

Dans och Cirkushögskolan is a member of CID.

dance and the Child international (daCi)
daCi is a non-profit organisation aiming to promote growth and development in dance for children and youth internationally, irrespective of race, colour, sex, religion, and national or social origin. 

daCi recognises that every child and young person has the right to dance and strives to preserve the cultural heritage of all forms of dance for children. The organisation creates opportunities for children and young people to experience dance as performers, creators and spectators valuing their perspectives with the utmost importance. daCi encourages the inclusion of dance in general education and community programmes, and supports research focussing on dance for children and young people. daCi provides an international network, facilitating the development of dance for children throughout the world.

Dans och Cirkushögskolan is represented in the organisation through teachers involved in dance for children and youth.

Nordiskt Forum för Dansforskning/Nordic Forum for Dance Research (NOFOD)
NOFOD is a non-profit organisation that promotes collaboration between dance scholars and practitioners, through seminars and conferences as well as spreading information through discussions, performances and publications on dance. The purpose of the organisation is to enhance, empower and bring together diverse forms of dance research, knowledge and practice especially in the Nordic context. 

Dans och Cirkushögskolan is represented in the organisation.
